Richard Reaume, Plymouth Township Supervisor, provided the following update on business activity occurring in the near future:
Brembo, an international company that makes high performance brakes, is building a new North American headquarters in Plymouth Township in the Technology and Research park. The new building will be visible fromM-14 just west of Beck Road.
Dhake Company is a local company that makes paint and coatings that adhere to plastic. They are expanding their headquarters building on Northville Road and expanding their manufacturing operations on Eckles Road.
Stardock is a company creates games for computer users and is one of a few gaming companies located east of the Mississippi. They are planning to double in size over the next few years.
Secure 24, a SE Michigan company, has bought a building in Plymouth
Township and is locating a new high tech data center. They will be
installing a high speed internet backbone to their building for
operations. This new backbone is an attractive infrastructure
improvement that should attract other high tech companies to the area.
Fast Tracking: Wayne County Economic Development will partner with Plymouth Township to implement a fast tracking permitting program designed to eliminate the potential lengthy process to receive building and DEQ permits. This pilot is intended to attract and retain companies and jobs to Wayne County and Plymouth by providing value engineering, along with State and local tax incentives.
