USA Hockey National Development Team Alumni Shine in the NHL!

Alumni from the National Development Team include NHL All-Stars Brandon Saad-Columbus Blue Jackets, Dylan Larkin-Detroit Red Wings,

John Gibson-Anaheim Ducks, Justin Faulk-Carolina Hurricanes and Patrick Kane (former NHL MVP)-Chicago Blackhawks.

Since 2000, four former National Development Team members have been the top pick in the NHL Draft. In 2016, the Toronto Maple Leafs made Auston Matthews the latest NTDP Alumnus to be the top pick in the draft.

Since the inception of the National Development Team 65 players have been drafted in the first round, 63 in the second round and a total of 278 have been drafted overall. In addition to playing in the NHL, several of the alumni played for the National Team in the Olympics and World Championships.
