Create a Standardized Resume:

  • List what you are proficient at doing.
  • Let the resume reflect what you enjoy doing.


Be Able to Pass a Drug Test:

  • Most large employers offering a good quality jobs will have drug testing.
  • Most employers still test for marijuana, since it is still prohibited by federal law.
  • We will list in the portal, if an employer requires a drug test as part of the hiring process.


Come Prepared for the Interview:

  • Know something about the company.
  • Demonstrate the ability to take direction.
  • Show that you are coachable.


Social Media:

  • Review your social media accounts to ensure they positively reflect your character.
  • Refrain from posting anything that can be construed as offensive, obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, bullying, discriminatory, hateful, racist, sexist, infringes copyright, or is otherwise unlawful.
  • Ensure content on your social media accounts does not appear to contradict your resume or information provided on your application.



  • Have letters of recommendation or be able to provide contact information from past employers, teachers, coaches or people who you worked with when volunteering that will serve as references.
