The community is highly affluent with about 70% of the population employed in white-collar occupations. Plymouth and the surrounding communities annually have the lowest unemployment rates in the state of Michigan and below the national average unemployment rate.

The historic, quaint streets are ideal for walking which make these areas appealing for those looking to shop or dine. Ann Arbor Road is the highest traffic area in the Plymouth Community forming our most bustling commercial corridor.
